Update 11 – Trinity Cathedral

The only think I got here are your typical ground crickets and Greater Anglewing katydids.  That’s it.  Took a nice photo to post.

Matt is commenting when he hears some cricket that aren’t being surveyed this evening, such as the Tree and Field crickets, but they won’t be included in the count sheet.

  1. Lots of people are having the same problem. We had one group report their seventh species of the night–a forked-wing katydid–which they heard singing from the top of a spruce tree. When Sam heard that last detail, he immediately identified it as a treetop bush katydid, which is not one of our target species, which which sounds very similar to the fork-wing
